Siliguri, 02nd October: Today marks the birth anniversary of the Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Siliguri also celebrated this special day of the world’s greatest leader.
Today, to commemorate this special day Siliguri celebrated by offering floral tributes at the Gandhi Statue in front of the Head Post Office.
During this, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Commissioner Sonam Wangdi Bhutia, and other councilors of SMC paid tribute to Gandhi’s statue with garlands.
